This year's Advent Pageant for
the congregation and the children revolved around two manger scenes.
In the foreground a family sitting at a table assembled its manger
scene while nearby the children formed a living costumed nativity
scene. Mother from the family scene served as narrator for the
program, assisted by “her” children. Frequently the two groups
interacted: the costumed shepherd, for example, put a figure
of a shepherd into the family’s display before taking her place in
the living nativity scene. This was once again a delightful
and moving service--one that will truly prepares your heart for the
coming of our Savior Jesus Christ.
